On top of the basic racing concept, the cars can be equipped with weapons, that are picked up on the track as bonuses, which can be used against competing cars. The automobiles themselves, once again, have wheels that are larger than the body of the car thus creating a car that has no 'right way up' and can be flipped yet continue to drive. For the North American Windows PC release, game publisher Take-Two Interactive repackaged the original European/Australasian version as 'Death Track Racing'.There are 6 different environments, with 3 or 4 tracks in each. There are the returning Harpoon (an exotic island) and Outworld (tracks that take place on a different planet) tracks, as well as 4 new ones: Skyway, which are all tracks built high in the sky, Ventura, which is in a rocky desert, and the even more futuristic Leviathan and Jumpgate tracks (Leviathan tracks are situated on an alien planet or asteroid and Jumpgate is a complex of buildings built in space). These are all spread into 5 different leagues which must be completed to unlock new cars and other things. Jumpgate isn't available until Type II Campaign is completed. FinalI owned about a quarter of those games, there were some gems. How can you have Parasite Eve 1 and not 2 (I think I liked 2 more actually), and Tales of Destiny 2, and not Tales of Destiny 1 or Tales of Eternia? Also, Darkstalkers 3, Star Ocean 2, Pocket Fighter, and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo were great games that you missed.
